PKFA U20 Tournament: A Debut to Remember
PKFA's very first tournament, the U20 Men's 5-a-side Group cum Knockouts League, was a resounding success. 16 teams, 150+ players, and 8 officials came together for a single-day tournament packed with competitive matches, dramatic turnarounds, and outstanding individual performances.
The standout scoreline of the day came in the quarterfinals, where SupaStikas FC demolished Vadachennai 10-0. In Semifinal 1, Ronaldo FC and SupaStikas FC were locked at 0-0 through a tense first half — before Ronaldo FC struck twice late to seal a 2-0 win. Semifinal 2 between Kumbalaki Boys and Kadapuram was the most heated match of the tournament, level at 1-1 at the break, before Kumbalaki Boys found a late winner and shut the game down to advance.
The final between Ronaldo FC and Kumbalaki Boys was a battle of nerves. Kumbalaki Boys edged ahead 1-0 at half-time, but Ronaldo FC capitalized on a costly error to level the score in the second half. With the match tied 1-1 at full time, the title was decided on penalties — Kumbalaki Boys held their nerve to win the shootout 2-1.

Kumbalaki Boys were crowned champions of PKFA's opening tournament, taking home ₹5,000 and a 3-foot trophy. Runners-up Ronaldo FC received ₹3,000 and a 2-foot trophy. Winning captain Sharvesh lifted the title, with Lokesh Raj leading the runners-up.
Individual honors went to Vinay of Kumbalaki Boys, who claimed both the Golden Boot (7 goals, 5 assists) and Player of the Tournament, while Ajin of Kadapuram took home the Golden Glove with 10 successful saves.
